About Me

I am the LiveOps Engineering Group Lead for the F1® Live Service team with 8 years experience in the games industry. I have worked through multiple full development cycles, across multiple platforms, and multiple generations (including PC, Playstation 4/5, and Xbox One/SX). This experience includes working with both commercial and in-house development engines.

In addition to my Software Engineering responsibilities, I also help with a number of the studio’s “social impact” initiatives. I am the Birmingham site rep for the EA’s Pride UK Employee Resource Group, I organise a weekly studio running group, and I help with the studio’s charity events when possible. For example, this picture was taken just before I lead a studio charity run in aid of Special Effect!

Outside of work I enjoy live music, running, and photography. Of course, I also enjoy playing video games of all genres and I am usually looking out for unusual indie game to try.

On this site you will find the projects I have worked on during the different phases of my career. Where possible, I have gone into a little detail about the technical skills involved in that project.

More information and contact details can be found on my LinkedIn profile.
